first, i do not race. too much stress for me :-? i started with a ketos in 2012. i have not tried any other high performance foilboards. my foil has the same front foil as the one on the picture, also a very low profile fuselage and strut. the back foil is different. i like it a lot but i cannot make any serious statements comparing it to others, sorry. i wish there where more foilboards at my spot... i will try to get better pictures.

all his foils and boards are a work of art... the carbon alone is 90+ a yard not prepreg. the finish is out of the world too...

Hello Holden! I am from Salzburg and would be interested to get a contact to the foilmaker of the pictured foil from Your post at June 03 - 11:48 - even its a prototype and not for sale. Would that be possible in some way?

Just a quick heads up on the Sencillo foil - a simple concept that we've been working on for a few years (since 2010). Easy learning via a rock solid fuselage and vert leg with interchangeable wings once your ready to up the anti or just go a bit quicker ;-)

Hi Everyone,

I think it's time I update the info on the Magma Foil.

We currently have our 2014 design for the Intermediate Foil. This is aimed at getting first time riders up and going quickly and easily, but still keeping enough performance to keep them interested once they have learnt to foil.

Through a lot of testing we have a wing that does not stall out aggressively at low speeds and give you ample warning before a stall thanks to a well balanced "washout" towards the tip.

All our foils come with our own Foil mount system.

The Radius in the front of the plug locks the foil in place and takes the pressure of an impact off the screws in case of a collision.

We also do not laminate inserts into the parts. We use simple M8 Female and Male Hardware that can easily be replaced in case you damage the thread or screw.

We are currently finishing up the design of our Race Wings and will be releasing info and pics of them soon.

Gunnar,
Some nice ideas there! :thumb:
Do I see a T T style fin for the rear of the fuse for added yaw control?
Your mounting hardware is a nice touch, no inserts may just be a GREAT idea!
Prices?
Availability?
3rd party tests?
Board?
Sorry, maybe I jump the gun but here is on fire for foils that work!
Many friends are asking me what to buy as the craze is now!
You are one of the few who I know has a good clean history so thanx so much for all your hard work and I wish you all the best!
I hope to test fly one soon!

The picture above is of an old Carafino production board and foil from about 2008.
Why would anyone call it the latest?

It does not belong in the 'kite hydrofoils available' thread.
