"RESULTS KITEFOIL GOLDCUP LA VENTANA 2014

1. Maxime Nocher (FRA, North/Taaroa)
2. John Heineken (USA, Ozone/Taaroa)
3. Nicolas Parlier (FRA, North/Spotz) "

The French female champion Sophie Caillet (radical) won her division followed by La Ventana local, Cynthia Brown in 2nd, Catherine Dufour in 3rd and Eugenia Gueorguieva in 4th.

So now we know at least for now which foils and riders are the fastest.
HUGE thank you to the hard working event organizers, well trained competitors and skilled manufactures for all coming together to make this happen! :thumb:

Hello,
Just saw in a kite mag advert for takoon kiteboardhydrofoil which is a Ketos.
We have heard rumors for 2 years that F-one was working on one, lattest gossip is that they are getting close?
Also talk of North AND Naish looking into this latest aspect of kite fun.
Bring it on please! :D
Maybe great things to come :?:

Exactly - I have tried the Takoon Hydrofoil once, last week, on a light wind rainy day, and it was FAST, yet still easy to ride :thumb:

Took a few pics. It has tuttle box, and not that heavy eventhough full carbon.
Front wing quite high aspect, a bit of, but not too much camber and a very thin low drag profile.

Exciting to see how it will work :thumb:

I can not compare, having ridden it once, sorry...

But closer to the race than the freeride is my impression :thumb:

I like the lines on the foil. "Cut here to reduce lift."?
