Hello everyone,
I have been kiting for about 18 years now and would like to buy a foil board. I have no idea how to wrap my head around all the various brands and aspect ratio points to determine what would be best for me. I weigh 103Kgs fly a Chrono 18, Edge 17 and 11m, SB 14 and 10m. I like free ride and wonder what would best. Also we have a lot of reefs around which I know is not good for foil boards but to they have any that can withstand impacts better? I do like going fast as well and may race it at some point.
I was checking out the Taaroa but even then board size and foil best for my weight…?
Thanks in advance!

Interesting question and look forward to hearing people's thoughts - I decided on the Moses Silente, as it seems a more progressive/possibly easier foil to learn on?!

Really...since 1996? you must be the unknown associate of either Bruno and Dominique Legaignoux, Manu Bertin, Laird or Cory Roeseler?

The best foil is the one you can get. Think the waiting time is sooo long with most brands.
