Western australia is pretty sick as is nz but looking for somewhere 23.5 knots + - 0.5 knots side on everyday all day for 2 months with huge sandbar slicks and some 3-4ft point breaks with a few 6-8ft days . Do I actually need to go to brazil finally... i hate crowding...

You already know the answer... get in your car and drive north for 5 hours. Rangiputa = white sand, flat water behind sandbars, Ahipara = shipwreck bay, great left hander for SUP or kite. Many other awesome spots with only you on the beach. Plenty to explore. Kari Kari peninsula means windy windy peninsula. Chance of wind almost as good as anywhere else in the world at that time of year (maybe not 23 knots :-? ). Beaches to cover all wind directions (except NW). Almost guaranteed a tropical cyclone and big northerly storm swell at that time of year.
If no wind go fishing or SUP.
I've been to Brazil..awesome for the experience but way crowded and not one of the worlds great surf spots where i was.
Home is often better than you realise. (but I must admit the last few months have sucked)

Why do you want these very conditions ?

I would say it is pretty windy, but if you prefer always riding with a 4m2 kite on a hydrofoil, yes, it works :thumb:

But I would feel a bit hmm hmm "scared" maybe ?

Riding in 24 knots in 6-8ft waves on a hydrofoil - remember a good helmet and impact vest as the foil is almost a murder weapon in breaking waves this size :naughty:

But agree - it is awesome to feel the wave push you on a foil, so you can just let the kite fully out, or even ditch the kite and ride ha haa

Eventhough I have only done it in 3-5 feet waves, and not very good but getting better

wrong section fail..

i am in far north queensland right now and hydrofoil would b awsome if

1. if foil didnt cost a fortune

2. it didnt cost a fortune to take on the plane with board

3. the water was deeper that 3 ft which in vast areas at lower tides it is not

bit over light winds in aussie, maybe need to move back to nz..hmmm warmth.. wind...

Aaah, okay :naughty:

That WAS my first thought and happens, but then there was a reply, which somehow indicated to me it was not the wrong section
