100% true.
I was doing the air carve downwind transitions in the first week of learning.
16 months foilboarding so far and cannot say it about normal air gybe.
This feet change kills me. HOW DO IT?! Where is the trick?
I tried couple of hundreds times and always end up with kissing the water.

Shooting the final "how to" footage for that this weekend.

Video should be ready next week.

Now I would like to be pedantic :naughty:

It seems wrong to use the term "Air Jibe" for a normal "Foiling Jibe"

An Air Jibe would IMO be when you jump with the foil fully out of the water, and land going the other way/tack, just like we know it from TT, Waveboards, Windsurf, Freeraceboards :thumb:

Whereas a jibe when you are up foiling all the way round, is a Foiling Jibe, and not an Air Jibe.

Just my opinion and recommendation...

PS: Awesome with your videos both Gunnar and BraCuru !

Then you should remove the Jibe from your post too. According to the experts, your video look like a failed transition, not a Jibe.

Aah, C'mon, just because I suck at it here in the start and fall halfways, does not change that my intention was to make a jibe, and definitely not a transition only :thumb:
