ok... after receiving lots of questions, here is few information on the XR1...
It's carbon, 3 years we are working on it...
it's made out of ultra high modulus carbon fiber (50% stiffer than high modulus and almost 3 times stiffer than conventional carbon fiber). mast has almost the same chord as the arrow but is much much stiffer in flex and twist thanks to some new manufacturing process (will speak about it when releasing the product).
it's purely performance oriented, no beginner configuration and of course extremely fast!
it has 2 longitudinal screws to fix all the assembly (front wing into mast into fuselage into stabilizer). so like all our foils easy to transport. parts are rectangular conical for tight assembly.
it has an adjustable stabilizer angle with a new spacer concept. last year with the manta and arrow, we introduced spacers/galvanic isolators that has then been also used by competition. this year again we are bringing a new assembly system never used before in kitefoils!
mast head is KFbox compatible so can fit Fone and ketos boards.
there are few more nice features that will be shared later on....
A carbon board will of course complement this nice toy!
