Custome Color finishes for the Magma Barracuda Foils

Hi Everyone,

First of all I would like to show you two examples of the custom colours we made for the protos of the Magma Barracuda Foil.

Signal Blue and my personal favourite "Batman" Black.



We are still finalising details in the production and testing has been slow for obvious reasons, but we are mostly on track.

We will not however be able to make our Mid April Launch date, as I will probably still be in the hospital and not really any use to helping us get the product out on time, so we have decided to push back the release date to May. We plan to start having foils out to customers starting the first week of May.

Thanks to those of you who have put in early orders already, and I am sure you will love your Barracudas when they get to you.

We are now taking pre-orders, but will be producing only small number batches first, so if you want one quickly you need to be quick on your orders. In June we plan to have a second set of moulds finished and will be able to ramp up production to fill most orders within a week of the foil being ordered.

These foils got very, very clean design.
They look like would be done in only one part - no visible screws, connections, gaps.

Did you try pure white?
Or three colours in a layout of French or German flag?

Where can read any test reviews of them by independent riders?

I already have 4 kiteboards.... it's hard for me to explain to my wife why do I need another one

..... is it possible to buy just the foil?

Do you provide the adaptor to mount the wing in one of my surfboards?

just 4 boards you need a new contract with the wife LOL just kidding.

Gunnar foils come with a plate mount that you can attach to your boards.

I worte my contract with the wife along time ago.. boards I keep ( and there are a few missing that are down stairs)... kites is a totally different topic

Hi Genoves,

Yes. You can just buy the foil and modify your board to fit it. We changed to the plate system with a 90mm x 165m spacing.

You can either fit it in a full volume surfboard using 10" US-Boxes like this:

Or drill holes in a thinner board and use bolts,nuts and washers.

Any decent shaper can install a US Box into a surfboard.

Dude I hope you a kidding.

But maybe "pre-order" is the wrong word here. The factory will be producing as on the first week on May.

It's a first come/first serve system. We can only produce a small number a week. So we are giving a people a chance to reserve their foil if they want to be one of the first to have one, especially
in custom colours.

You can order once production starts, but that can mean waiting up to 2-3 Weeks if orders continue to roll in as they are now.

Once our second set of moulds is finished, then people can expect a lead time of a week.

Hi dude,

You can have it in any colour you want. That is the whole point of custom colours. Even if you want the 3 parts to be in different colours. Obviously it will cost a little more, as that involves more work, but of course its possible.

The Standard Finish will be like everyone else's. Naked Carbon, just with the new logo.



I assume reviews will come as soon as the first customers receive their foils in may.

You want two of these and you space them 90mm apart when you add them to the board.
