Postby foilonfoil » Sun Apr 05, 2015 9:18 am

AlpineFoil have announced their new V5.0 Access which is their new design (5.0) Entry Level (Access) product... Machined and anodized Aluminum strut (mast) and fuselage with carbon fiber wings. Separation of CF wings and aluminum to mitigate galvanic issues...

Sweet price and two interchangeable options for tuttle box and f.box. Nice! The foiling market just keeps getting better and better!

Is the 5.o interchangable mounting between the f box and tuttle box, it looks like you can change out the male part that is mounted to the foil.

Yes. Thats what I was told but I think you will likely have to purchase the "second" adapter you want as an additional option.

Talk about a sleek fuse.
Strut length 95 cm
2.8 kilos, T bar with wings
F wing 800 cm2 XLP
I just saw this yesterday, beautiful.
To bad there was not one to test, but soon I am sure.
If it flies as good as it looks, watch out!

RH, Did you also see the RX-V5 board as well? Comments? AF indicates it's carbon reinforced but it's not exposed like the other models...
