I am currently at 0 knots. When I get my foil, I'll jump to maybe 0.5 knots when you average in the crashes ;-)

I have a gps speed puck by Velocitek attached to nose of my board. I thought I hit a new record at 14 knots and was finally cruisen up for long distances but, when I got to shore I found it was stuck at 1.4. Sent speed puck back they said they will exchange it no problem. Good service, sorry if I am off the on the subject.

Nico Parlier did hold this weekend 32.61 knots average for 2.5 nautical miles.

Not a sudden speed peak or a few seconds blast. It was an almost 5 minutes run.

Now THAT is fast.

Gotta love GPS. When I come back after a light wind session I check the data and find my peak speed was over 30 knots.. sometimes over 40. Wow I am stoked.

Then when I look at the graph of my speed I notice that these are just data spikes and I actually never get above 30 knots for very long.

When I see Nico Parlier maintaining 32.6 knots for 5 minutes, now that is very very impressive!

 CG
