yeah that's a Barnett Heat rugby helmet / aka "scrum cap" -- provides some protection and also keeps the ears warm ;)

the age-old Cloud vs other kite size discussion is infinite and probably for another forum
but I'd say perhaps like a 6-7m, depends on a million factors though
