I agree. Just getting on a foil board will not make a Hero. As a minimum, you will have to be comfortable upwind and downwind even if you are not able to gybe or tack. Your schedule needs to push considerably forward!

Hi everyone,

Thank you all for your advises.
So according to what you told me, I have made so changes on my training schedule.

- Week 2: Train on Rolla Bolla (daily basis), mountain board, some LEI practice
- Weekend 2: Go in the water (Body dragging), and mountain board on the beach (Learnhow to get up on the board)
- Week 3: More LEI flying, mountain boarding
- Weekend 3: More body dragging and mountain boarding
- Week 4: Daily training on Rolla Bolla, etc...
- Weekend 4: Start first session on directional board

After that, it will depend on my progression. If I am not good enough at that point I plan on keeping those current basic training.
If not the schedule can move forward !!

I will of course let you know of my progression, and keep the forum update.

Thank you all again for your interest

Hi there,

I have to admit, it have been difficult with no wind recently, so no body dragging with a kite.
But I still I have found solution like wakeboarding. It was real fun!! and very useful for me to understand the feeling annd practice on water (as I am more used to snow ^^).

This weekend and the next one I intend on going to the Edge Race Cup and then the Virgin Kitesurfing Armada, if the weather is good enough I plan on doing some body dragging and maybe also receive lots of advise and motivation from people.

Thank you again for your interest.

You will find below some new pics, hope you will like them ^^

Unfortunately it didn't amount to much in the end. Without Paul having his own transport or being able to get up at a reasonable time to be able to go at the same time as me, it all faded away!
