Has anyone ridden this new wing? I heard it doesn't DROP down when it cavitates instead it makes a noise and you just put more front foot pressure.

The same could probably be said of many large wings. Probably the bigger the wing, the more so.

My zeeko carver for example does this if you are riding fairly fast and level, but in other situations it will drop me. However, if speed is good it will often pop right back up.

So I have found after two sessions in the carver, (and only 3 total, I'm a foil baby still...).

Not sure I know which wing you are talking about, but you could be ahead of me...

What size is it ?

I know of the FR2 XL wing 700 mm span and 880 cm2 area.

And the Wave XL wing 575 mm span and 790 cm2 area (getting one myself now).

Then there are even bigger windfoil wings of course.

But the XXL, what is that ?

Apart from not knowing the XXL, you are spot on, a low AR big wing will sort of tremble slightly instead of cavitating or stalling, and you just put more pressure on your front foot - I know that from other low AR wings.

it's a 1200 cm2 wing developped for SUP.
But it works also well for kiting !

No this one is the Wave XL. it's 790 cm2.

I don't think that the 1200 is yet in production

I am just ordering my Wave XL and today I asked Anne from KETOS about the Wave XXL and here is her reply:
right now in 2017 we are not developping the xxl, we are working on prototype in 1200 & 1400 for the SUP, and steph allready try the 1200, but we have still to improve it

Havent got mine yet, but the wave XL (which you refer to as the XXL green wing Big Wally) is a lower AR big wing as you can see, meaning it will have very soft (easy and warning in advance) stall and ventilation characteristics, and turn fast, so excited to see how it will be in real life riding it
