This begs the question. What is the world record for distance on a hydrofoil?
A friend of mine currently holds the record:
http://www.guinnessworldrecords.com/wor ... ing-(male)
But no hidrofoil was used at that time, i know he will now use on his next attempt for lightwind riding.

Why did your movie producer cropped the image on the top and bottom -- to make it more "cinematic"? Those black bars at the top and bottom are a great disservice to your viewers. Currently, less than 1% of all computer monitors are ultrawide; I would be surprised if anybody on this forum had one. The home theater projection systems are so rare that constitute 0% of TV market. There is no LCD or OLED TV featuring this format anymore, and the situation for portable devices is even more peculiar, with the notorious examples of the Apple iPad (which is 4:3) and Microsoft Surface (3:2).

Good point.
The version for vimeo will be in "normal" format.
Thanks for pointing it out.

Anybody willing to watch the best 5 minutes in slowmo of the crossing ask about a password on pw.
Watching it on a big screen with good sound highly recommended.
