Foiling flatwater 30-40 knots 4m uno yeha!

Argh! had an awesome session today. 30-40 knots, found a spot in behind the break water at the port amongst the yachts that was completely flat water.
First time on the new pocket board fully set up. Second time with the changed AOA of the year stab, third time flying the 4m uno after only foiling 3 times in the last 3 months!

What a blast. I love flying little kites. The uno was sweeeeeet. So easy to control in that mad mad wind. I started thinking about trimming when the 40 knot gusts hit other wise it was untrimmed the to the late 30's. So I proceeded to practice my jybes which had turned to shit with bugger all foiling in 3 months. After 10 mins of furious crashing I was back to surface jybing 80-90% of the time with some closer to foiling jybes. Pretty stocked by that given the conditions.

Ahhhhh! I love high winds.

I wanted to go out this past week with a 4m RRD but the gusts and lulls were crazy , from 10knts and 20secs later 35knts .. Kite didn't know if it was coming or going.

I'm still dying to try it in those sorta winds

Yeah. You don't use your smallest kite very often. Sometimes you question buying them beacause they often gather dust for months and months at a time. But when you use them....... it's freaked fantastic and worth every penny of the expense.
