Last time I was in the water, coming in, I got near the break and suddenly, unwillingly... up I went...,
seems that the initiating underwater wave roll pushes the wing up. Does it?
Initially I aired out, but afterwards trying to avoid getting close to the break, I laid strongly back for going parallel to the shore.
During this attempt, half of the wing emerged out and the speed went crazy until I recovered control (or stopped or crashed - me still beginner ).
I was surprised how long it took until I lost it. Quite a long distance riding in this unstable stance.
Is it possible to ride long controlled tacks with almost half wing jutting out?
