It is easy to prove this BS. Here is Beaufort Scales. It is difficult to walk in the 34-40 knots range. 48-55 is two categories above. Trees are uprooted (!), so don't even try an umbrella sized kite.

I came back just to watch that again and boom, disappointment.

Who doesn't love Jean Claude?

Epic windsurfing is killer. Those waves are truly huge.

It's a great edit, but I thought the link to the topic was weak.
I don't think there is rivalry as they are different enough that kitefoiling and windfoiling offer different things. My windfoil board is now modded - have to wait a few weeks after an operation to try it.
