Along the lines of what tadeusz suggested, with two parallel slolam courses, it's a short and fast head to head contest. No safety issues unless someone cuts out of their course. Though with how fast you'd have to whip or loop your kind downwind I guess they could tangle. Dunno. Maybe the wind fest folks will give it a demo next year.

I don't see any reason why foil slalom would be more or less feasible than using a race board or twin tip, you just need a bigger/wider course to account for the higher speeds. It might be fun to make it a reaching slalom so that you have to harden up, round down and go downwind, hike hard upwind, bear away downwind without gybeing or tacking.
