I see mid to high 30's when aggressive cruising on the 550 and 558. Rare to see 40+

oh for sure, the AR of the 558 is definitely a faster shape. I was out last night again on the 558, 330 combo and it really is very good balance.

Today I tried the 548 front wing and ( for me new) 325 rear wing on 2016 Fluente mast. Previously I had 330 rear wing, the one with winglets.
Only 30 min before wind died, it was 12 knots.
I found it smoother and even quieter, seemed like it was slipping through the water easier.
Overall pitch balance seemed better with less front foot pressure needed.
It has less " initial " yaw stability, easy to yaw with hips. But " final " stability felt the same. Kind of like stability on a kayak - tippy at first, but gets More stable as it tilts more.

I'm still learning transitions, but it felt easier to initiate the turn.

Yes much easier to turn with the 325, but also much less roll stability which can be tricky for footchanging.

I put the 330 stabilizer back on after 4 sessions with the 325.
Definitely need a lot more front foot pressure and it's much more difficult to keep the foil in the water at speed and following wind swell.
The roll stability is much higher. I find the foil has more drive through the noob heel to toeside carves I'm attempting.
It's definitely easier to learn turns on it.
How should I trim stabilizer to get it so it has less front foot pressure?

I went back and looked at an old thread. It seems I should raise leading edge of the stabilizer to make balance more neutral, more backward stance and more manoeuvrability.
The 325 wing felt much better going at speed and doing S turns, but had less roll stability and drive through turns. So trying to get forward back balance of the 325 with roll stability and drive of 330.

The problem with the t40 board is that it doesnt have Rails, when you change front wings and stabilizers you would need to sligtly move the foil more forward or more backward depending on the setup, to get a more neutral balance, but because of only 4 holes you cant do that and the only way is being strapless, or moving the straps around.

I'm using a Slingshot Dwarfcraft 5-4 with plate all the way back. And I'm using foothooks, so I'm moving my rear foot forward with the 330, but front hook is all the way forward, and my toes are touching the front hook.
This photo the plate is 2cm from furthest back position, but I've moved it since. And it's the 325 stabilizer, which I switched out today.

So with the plate all the way back you still feel too much front pressure with the 548+330 ? If yes, and if your front foot is all way forward then move you back foot abit more back. Remember that the 548 has more lift at low speeds, which means alot more if you try to go faster. The 550 is more suitable to go faster.
