between the "legacy" of mango and the inventive and persistent french, aguera & co. can expect tough sledding in light of many years prior art i think.

But prior art doesn't keep people from making and selling stuff. It just keeps them from patenting it.

i skipped from page 10 to 35 and spork still going strong. Not interested to read all the offtopic shit. Anyone really got one of these chinese foils and do they work WELL ENOUGH for the 400$ price? Reviews anywhere?

Yes, it's an exact takuma V100 without the paint, works awesome for surf/sup foiling, can be used for kiting but very slow
total price is $500+ for one.

There's also a full carbon sup/surf foil Chinese venders are offering that looks similar to the go foil. I met a guy that freshly bought one in Western Australia to windfoil and sup foil with. He's happy with it but the biggest deficiency of it is that the front wing is thinner than the go foil so he bulked the top side with some plaster to increase upper camber about a cm and beef up the wing to make more lift. It looks solid for ~450 usd delivered.

Looks like a lower aspect version of the new Moses 2018 Comet (which is excellent)

Is it a CC (chinese copy?)

I did get mine several months ago looks like really decent build quality. I've been so anxious to try it out u have no idea. Its the winter that will never quit here. I mean if even a little water opens up im going for a test drive with it.
I did request many times to have the base plate bonded on the mast and they did comply with my request. I think tegranashi has the same one and he got some rides in on it or his buddy did. It is an advanced wing so it maybe harder to ride for novice intermediate foilers.
