Moses 550 wing and 325 Stabilizer review

Love my Lift NF2 foil. Playing in swells etc and at the very early stages of switching my feet with board on water. I like stable playful foils more than fast, high performance right now. Can anyone compare the Moses 550 with 325 to the 2016 Lift/Slingshot NF2?

Thanks,
Oregonkiter

I have Moses 550 and 548 plus the 330 and 325 stabilizer. But can't compare to the lift or Slingshot.
Can say that after some experience and trying 548 for 20 hours I went back to the 550 and think it's better. The 330 stab is more roll stable and has more drive in turns. I'm at your stage.
I've ridden a thrashed LF from 2015 and it was way more stable and easy, but slow and dragging because of bent fuselage.
My guess from reading and riding is the Moses is fairly sporty. It's not a Porsche or a Ferrari, more like a Mazda miyata.

That's great information. Thank you. Perhaps I'll get one more season under my belt with the Lift. I learn faster if I'm not fighting the wing. I take more chances and try more things.

It really depends on your weight and what your riding discipline is really the 550 is for lighter riders and the 548 for heavier riders IMO I'm 225 and prefer the 548 for free ride/ocean waves with my weight.550 a bit faster too,but after a few years foiling I don't mind slowing down a bit enjoying the waves more.I believe the MHL/slingshot foil is very similar to the 2015 MHL foil with the triangular fuselage which I have and ridden extensively too, great foil too, comes down to preference really the fluente is a bit faster especially w 550 wing than the MHL and the MHL has a bit longer mast so a bit more Cadillac stable ride especially when choppy, both excellent foils really if you want to race or go faster go with the Moses, bit slower cruisy riding especially for bigger riders edge to MHL,another nice thing is moses has more wing/mast options as the 2015 MHL is no longer in production so that has to be considered too.On another note I've been riding the new MHL with a 150 wing just love that foil can't get enough riding that set up,save that for another thread though.

Any clues/experience on 545 wing which is sold with Ghost Whisper?
Where did you buy the 150 from?

That's really helpful, pitbulldoug. I own the 2017 Ghost Whisper, which is arguably the most popular foil in The Gorge. At this stage I find I prefer my MHL, as I take more chances on it, and consequently learn more, faster. The 2017 GW is perhaps the go-to foil for folks who have two years on the MHL, and are looking to go faster, but still have a playful wing set.

Everyone seems to be coming out with big, surfy wings.

I am really curious about Lift's new 130 and 150 wings.

So many foils; so little time...

Yep that's what I'm currently riding the new 2017 MHL 150 wing like I said above,my favorite wing, also have the 110 wing too for windier days when riding my 6m boxer, which is basically the same as the old 2015 MHL osprey wing, and quite possibly the same as yours too.

So many foils; so little time...
True, the fluente a nice quality set up and decent price point, but if I had my choice the new MHL 2017 with the 150 stands out, however all of those foils are great

I'm 78 kg Dry. Found the 548 wing had too much lift at speed. 550 actually going as slow as 548, but has less lift at speed. Cruising around my GPS says my top speeds without pushing it are about the same on 550 and 548. The rear stab 330 vs 325 has huge influence on character..

My experience is that the 550 also has too much lift at speed compared to the 558....558 is much more balanced.
