Just wanted to say thanks to all that replied. This is a great thread and helpful crowd!

Ended up buying a used T40 with Vorace 97cm mast with the 2017 550/325 combo to learn on. Also got the full 2016 race (HP580/345) wing & stab to play with later on... Will start on that and then possibly complement with a 633 or 590, plus a pocket board.
Thanks for the guidance!
just out of interest, did you get all that gear at Boardworx?
just asking as it sounds like all my gear I swapped in recently, the red T60 was the carbon version and like new.

Tom Tom,
Good luck on Gotland. You'll have to dedicate yourself to learning on that set up. But you can do it! Board is nice and stable.

The 590/330wing will be way easier. You should look to getting that setup Asap. Those other wings will still be fun later on.
You will not regret getting the 590 /330 now.

What about going straight for a 633 to get more difference?!

Re: Moses 2018 - anyone tried 633 with smaller 330 rear?

Postby ldhr » Thu Aug 16, 2018 6:28 am

According to Horacio (Kanaha Shapes) this is a popular combo on Maui.
Anyone tried the 633 with the smaller rear wing - 330?

I have the Slingshot/Moses 633 with the larger 483 rear wing on the 3'6" Dwarfcraft.
I absolutely love it for riding swell in the Gorge on kites from 4m - 9m.
I'm able to do things I could only dream about on my old Lift 110 - swell riding, fast and slow turns - upwind/downwind - aerial foot switches.

I'm wondering what the 330 will offer ?

not sure if it would fit, different size fuse for the 633.

Foil, My understanding from Moses is the 330 stab is for straight- line speed and free ride. You would have to modify the fuselage to use it with the 633 as said earlier in this thread. It’s not designed to complement the larger low aspect front wings. I’ve used the 330 with my 550 and 590 front wing because it will fit that fuselage with no modification.
I use the 633 and 483 stab for wave riding and cruise mode and practicing transitions.
