The 633 wing, also known as the Onga foil set up.
Something that I have discovered about using this set up.
I have found that this set up on a long mast, a Moses 101cm,feels really nervous if you try to overpower it with a kite too large for the conditions, it's happened to me twice now in the same week, using a 12mtr ozone Reo Mk4 in no more than 15mph or 12knts it felt very unhappy, it would not run smoothly to top speed, it felt very nervous and made me very tense and unwilling to carve into a turn, however as soon as I returned to shore and switched to a 10mtr all was good again, total control, slashing around in the waves, looping at every opportunity to carve a fast turn, the difference was amazing, happening twice in the same week must mean something, its telling me to drop a kite size as the lift from the wing is massive so no need to worry about getting up on the fly,
The Onga like less pressure on its surfaces to run smoothly and give the rider a smooth and fast ride with quick fluid carves that make you smile instead of gritting your teeth and shouting "holy Shite"
I am only an improving rider so others may find the overpowering thing something they can cope with, but for me it was not helpful at all, and made me feel like a total novice again,(my 12 mtr would have been perfect if I had any of the standard moses wings on the long mast)
so lesson learned, drop a mtr or two to enjoy the 633 Onga at its best.
