Well, "fun" is really subjective factor. I checked with Moses directly few days ago, below is the communication

Hi,
I’m looking for a kitefoil setup which will get me up onto foil at the
lowest speed and will allow riding at lowest speeds in both transitions and
regular tacks.
Would 590 wing be a better choice than 548?
Does 590 have thicker profile than 548?
Is 590 wing a “new/better 548”?
Would 633 surf setup be suitable for above purpose (with surf fuselage and
stabilizer)?

With regards,
***********

and a reply

Dear Mr. ***********
My answer is yes to all your questions
The 590 is a new, thicker and higher lift profile then the 548
Yes the 633 could work very well in low wind range

regards
**********

I waited to find lowend, early takeoff and optionally slower transition/tacks wing from Moses and I can say, girls and boys, I think I've found it.
Still I'd like to know why to buy a 548 or 550 if you have 590/558 pair?
Another question - if 590 can go as fast/stable as 558, why having 558 at all?
I think you getting abit confused :)

The fact that Frank could push the 590 to 50+ km/h speeds doesnt mean it is as fast or as stable as the 558, those are two completely different wings. The 558 acceleration and average speed will destroy the 590 anyday.

I did not test the 590, but im quite sure that the most allaround wing will still be the 550. If you can have many wings, then yes, get the 590 and get the 558 or a race wing.

Answering my own question a bit I assume rider's weight will be a serious factor
heaviest rider and/or most lowend - 590 wing (or 548)
light rider - 550 wing
fast but "not race yet" - 558

Time and testing will tell us all which is this or that.
My speed watch will tell me the facts on speed next week whilst on Holiday as warm wind has been forecast for all week.
My new foil rig came today and there are many differences between the new 2018 gear against the 2017, mostly cosmetic but the new fuse is so different it got a wow,out of me, basically it's square section not round, the finish is smooth satin and the fuse to mast fit is now with deep Allen head M6 screws as in the photo.
The new 590 wing got a big Wow! From Pauline my wife and professional kite lander and launcher, it looks very Sexy she declared, well it is a big one!
Check out the close up photos of the 590 wing, you can see the differences at the connection point, and the fixing screws are different lengths as you can see from the warning sticker.
Cosmetically the Finish on the wings and mast is a more Matt or satin finish, with signs of hand finishing on my stabiliser wing, the mast may of been hand finished but it's too hard to tell, but I would not be supprised if it is, as a close up look in strong light shows it's a possibility, no shiny top finish anymore, very nice anyways.
I have a set of Moses kit kept over on the island but this new gear will be taken with me for testing alongside the standard 91 mast and 550 and 548 wings.

CWOODS

Cant compare the 590 max. speed to the 558 max. speed. The conditions today was not for max speed !

I would be very surprised though if the 590 will be as fast as the 558, due to the 590 bigger area and thicker profile. But I can easily imagine myself using the 590 instead of the 550 for playing/carving.

The 558 and the Vorace mast is a dreaming cruising combination.

Gained top speed alone is just one number/fact, it does not tell the whole story though.
It does not say anything about acceleration, or upwind angles for example. It also does not tell how the wing handles, feels, turns,...
Two wings which allow me to achieve the same top speed on a given day may be quite different in any other aspect.
All this I will try to be part of my wings guide I am working on. Which I hope will be helpful to some people.

Cheers,
Frank

I'd be interested to hear about the manoeuvrability of the 590 vs the 550.
I suspect grigorib is right, a good combination is the 590 and 558.

I also am a heavier, 200 lbs. guy so for someone ligther 590 might be a wing too big.
But just imagine, _what_if_ 590 goes fast really smooth and has front foot pressure balanced at speed...basically significantly overlapping with 558. Maybe it's time to demo a 637 then :)

550 is more agile when it comes to tight turns.
The 590 is quite different, has something extra to offer, to make it a good match with any other Moses wing.
Ride more, try more!
But mostly, ride more :)

The 590 does go fast smooth and easy, if you got a balanced not too narrow stance to start with you are fine when going fast too.
You may say all Moses wings have overlap, of course they do, all can be used almost anytime, anywhere and for the biggest part their speed range is the same ;)
Still they are all different and can offer something specific.

And yes, for sure you should test the 637! So far I got the impression that part of its potential is based on its ease of use. But beware, it is designed for racing. When riding it really powered and pushing it, it likes to be controlled by a modern wide stance as you see it by the top guys on international races. I am talking wide here. For the moment I extended my stance +10cm by moving my front foot forward.
Still testing and trying different things with it though.

Cheers,
Frank

Would you post a pic of 548 over 590 to show size/shape difference please?

The two wings appear quite a bit more different in real life than these pics show.
Planned to ride them back to back today, but the wind turned offshore and went down while still testing old and new race wings back to back.
