Hi there,
I have been riding on KFA as second hand gear. The previous owner had painted something to polish up the surface of the carbon foil, but it has been fading away. What sort of material shall we put to polish up the carbon foil?
Thanks.
Ariel

Any kind of filler primer will work, the generic stuff in a spray can is easy to work with because it's soft. If you want to use a maritime finish you'll get a more durable product but it's more difficult to work with because it cures harder, so it doesn't sand as evenly or easily.
I've transitioned to just using Bondo filler material to fill little cracks and pinholes, so unless you're going for an aesthetic look, I think this is an easier way than painting to get a smooth finish on your foil.

KFA is the best quality wise build foil, I don't think you need to do anything to it unless is damaged.
