I don't want to ride something heavy and horrible like the many production boards using snowboard construction method.
The Crazy fly F-lite and Chill are pretty sweet. F-LITE a tiny lunch tray. I have a past year proto similar to the Chill and is sijmilar in size to a skim board. Is lite and takes tons of abuse.
Can't imagine thin Shinn boards or chopped down Alia boards are heavy or horrible.
I think light wind water start is easier than my MHL lift because you can sink the board to help tense the lines.
Touch downs can be more punishing.
