Mar Menor , Mercia

Postby Flag53 » Sat Jan 20, 2018 4:36 pm

Hi all , I've done a search and not much info on this spot apart from a few years ago .

It looks great for foiling , a massive expanse of flat salt water.

Has anybody Foiled there and what's your opinion ?

Cheers Guys 👍

I have been there for a week or two, massive lagoon, soft mud at the thin end, plenty of places to launch from, I used the sailing centre facility's, at the time foiling had not been invented, so I only used it for the Twintip,
It's deep enough as all manner of sail boats us it, I hired a catermaran on a few days to go go jelly fish chopping, I went when it was full of the buggers, so that needs checking as some are quite large, or maybe they have sorted it now as it was over 13 years when we went there.
Nice place to go out of jellyfish season.
