Did anybody try the Converter 5'4" already? :D
LOVE mine! When the wind picks up it's a very fun board. I upgraded the stock fins to the carbon/glass ones in identical size/shape and I think it lost some of it's playfullness. It just doesn't have that pop when doing top/bottom turns now. To me, it seems like the cheap soft fins are a little better for smaller waves. The soft fins are easier to get loose. I've been meaning to try the softer plastic on the sides and the stiffer center to see how it reacts but haven't got around to it.

It doesn't have much volume so it's not a light wind board without the foil attached. Having the option to attach/remove the foil makes this my go-to board now. Quite surprised how it replaced my Spleene Zone, which was my favorite board for years.

Wonder when the 2018 foil boards will drop? Seen the SS team riders on them... grey, red and black.
