I am looking for feedback on the 2018 Naish THRUST KS 1 foil. I am really curious if anyone has put a THRUST SURF medium wing on it, if so did you change out the stabalizer too?
Any feed back?
Thanks

I have the Thrust, and Surf large, men we've been out of season here so I have not ridden the Surf one. I did get both front and back because it came with the short mast. I got the large because I want to ride my SUP with it.

It’s a test I’ve been planning to do, but never got around to it because I can guess what would happen. It would be slightly more stable than using surf stab. They put anhedral in surf stab to counter extreme stability of big front wing.

Anybody riding the stock 2018 Naish THRUST KS 1 foil only? I haven’t seen one in the wild.

Yes, I have the KS foil. I don’t ride it much. I ride the surf wings more. I wish the KS wing was faster than it is, to differentiate it more from the surf wings.

I have the thrust KS foil. Feels nice and stable, I was upwind in my first session with wind. I've only had it out 3 times or so due to poor wind conditions and timing, but so far so good.

Do you have the medium or large surf wing? Can you elaborate more what you mean? I am curious because I have not had the surf wing out yet, and I wasn't really expecting to take it out much with my foilboard.
You mean a KS wing that is just faster? I'm kind of expecting there to be more wings coming pretty rapidly since it is so inter-changable. Now I have not ridden a foil in ages, but already this is way more stable than my old foil.

I've been kiting the Thrust surf with medium wing for the last month. It is a slow speed carving machine. It will carve a very tight radius turn at what feels like a fast walk. Very easy. It is super stable but slow. My top speed is about 17 mph. Average speed is less than 10mph. The slow speed and tight carves makes this an excellent kite surf foil for small waves and swells. The wing picks up the wave energy really well so the kite can just drift along for the ride. The wing's speed matches the wave and swell speed really well. I think this is an excellent foil to learn on, especially transitions.

Taut,
I have both surf wings and the kite wing. The medium surf wing is pretty fast for a surf wing. The kite wing, I expected more from. I’ve ridden kite wings that lift about the same, but we’re much faster. My kite wing makes noise. Both my surf wings are silent at any speed, which is amazing, because all the surf foils from other famous brands (in my experience) hum at speed. So Naish did amazing job designing their surf wings.

Hmm, my KS is silent. I'll preface it with the fact I do not know how fast you are riding, and that I probably haven't ridden super fast, but so far no sign of vibrations.
I do like that you can adjust the lift on the foils.
I'm stoked about trying the surf foil in surf
