How many knots is that?

I post here because hydrofoilers are the light wind specialists...

I got impressed that a switchblade took off like that...
it's not the lightest of the kites...

More than 7 knots and it's really cold so possible help from air density? I've flown a 12m Switchblade (2013) on the beach in really light stuff and below 10 it's just not fun at all to try to keep it flying.

Any kite can start like this, in 6-7 knots and up, no matter how heavy I would say, especially when that cold :thumb:

The difficult part is, if on the water, when you lose speed, to keep it hanging to one side without flying the kite, thus lighter kites are used.
