I think you have to expect some small or big pinholes on the "non surface" areas, like the box connections fuselage or board, no problems at all with this.
On the surfaces, there can be some smaller issues, but most often nothing you would complain about.
What is PERFECT ?
As said by racers, they sand (and maybe paint) them down anyways, so doesnt matter as long as the profile is picture perfect.
For freeriders, some prefer the total glossy finish - looks awesome.
Whether the matte surfaces ARE better in any noticeable respect, or not, for non racers, still has to be proven actually
Some brands deliver them slightly matte now, so there is no discussion, great
It is still a relatively low cost product, no matter what we think individually, so some minor cosmetic flaws must be expected.
It you seriously think it seems "wrong" - ask the supplier - they are in my experience always very keen on being objective on these things, and not let you down if they feel "embarrassed" of what they delivered, or being real and tell you if it does not mean anything (and then you can always seek advice here if you dont agree).
