Jibe, Tack, jump, toe side, linked carved turns......ect....?
PLEASE!
For a total nubie who thinks he can jump on ANY TT KBHF and learn, NO! :nono:
One of the most important steps in learning to kite foil board is NOT flying the foil but getting used to it while board is on H20 and for this a TT
configured board is MUCH less forgiving than a Dir!
Also one will loose lift and need the board to continue in the "dolphin" stage, good luck with a TT board!
Also 2 straps seem needed for TT and we all know that this can, HAS and will have a potential for pain!
With a DIR the safest way to learn a front foot hook ONLY and the rear foot a little forward so board stays on water and WHEN a crash happens no leg injuries, having BOTH feet in TT straps OUCH!!
So before testing ANY TT PLEASE make sure you can fly a "standard" KBHF WELL!
I thought long and hard about designing and making a pair of dedicated TT KBHF foot hooks that would engauge the outside of the feet but gave up as never got enough performance from set up.
Will it be possible for some SKILLED riders to fly a TT KBHF well, probably yes, but note SKILLED!
DO NOT THINK YOU CAN LEARN TO FLY A KBHF ON THE CHEAP WITH A TT!!! :nono:
