First go on my new Groove Skate today, 8mtr kite, 633 Onda set up,
takeoff was instant up,although I needed to point downwind slightly more to feel the benefit of the lack of stiction this little board offers.
Any fears of nosediving in waves or failed flying gybes were quickly dismissed,
However, as the board weighs as much as a paper bag full of fresh air , it delivered a ride that was , exciting, nervous , and twitchy, and it took 4 trips back to the beach to adjust the mast position to even up the foot pressure, then a few miles more to eventually feel like I had the measure of this little green bundle of fun,

Tomorrow is Moses wing trial day and GPS speed logging along with upwind angle measurements, heelside and toeside😁
It's a hard life.

I honestly did not expect there to be such a big difference in feeling from my Moses T60, but there is, and there is wind and waves forecast for the last 7 days of my stay here at Flag beach, so one thing is guaranteed,
It will be fun

Boards make a huge difference in ride. Sometimes more than a wing change.

If I could ride like Gunnar, I'd buy a Groove Skate, too. Heck, I'd buy one if I could just hear Steppenwolf every time I ride. Nice video, Gunnar. :thumb:

Foil,

I’m like 1-2 weeks behind you. My groove skate is in the mail. I’ve just had 2 sessions on 633 using Dwarfcraft and frankly, I’m in love with the ride.

I can’t wait to try new board!

Can you elaborate on mast position for your setup please. I’m 90kg and set my 91cm mast all the way to the rear of Dwarfcraft. Whereas with the 590 wind I had it at 3cm mark. I’m riding strapless.

Thanks,
Salvatore

Does any one know if there is a adaptor so I could use my ketos foil with the grove board please?

Yes there is, nice to have so any 90x165 mm attachment board can be used:

The Groove Skate looks awesome, wide light and volume and scoop :thumb:
