Re: Foot hooks
I put two layers of 4oz. carbon over the top, easy fix, I also made some out of 1/4" x 2" alum. strap,
I bent them to match the NSI hooks, both ways worked perfect, but laying carbon over the top was super
simple and took no time at all, just slip the covers off, carbon up and slip the covers back on, no failures so far...

Just wanted to chime in on the Hooker debate. We (NSI) switched from ABS to Polycarbonate in January 2018. We found that even after increases in tensile strength the ABS was susceptible to fracture at cold water temperatures. The Polycarbonate not only has double the tensile strength but also has a larger temperature range. None of the Poly Hookers have broken so far that we know about. We encourage anyone to reach out with information about breakage, especially if the Hookers are the newest version. This feedback helps us keep improving.
Is the product something we should offer in a standard and short model? Maybe 2" shorter then the current.

The NSI website says:
"Hookers are a combination of thermo formed ABS plastic, non-absorbent, cushy foam padding and a custom soft neoprene cover for a clean, aesthetic finish. Covers are available in many must see colors!"

No mention of polycarbonate: please clarify, if in fact the ABS has been replaced. I don't want to spend more $$ to buy gear that is only good for a few sessions then falls apart.

Couldn't find those on the website, are they not yet released?
