No, I like kitesurfing because of the kite.

At $12000. Only 1 hour ride time at WOT. Then 2.5 hours to charge. Um... NOPE!

Have you tried it faxie?

I talked to a kite foiler and wave foiler who had gotten a chance to ride the prototype Lift Efoil extensively last year. He was over the moon excited about it. However, he had the same issue of the price ($11k) and would not be getting one.

I wonder if it would get boring after a while because it's too easy.

He noted that it was really easy to learn. He saw a woman up and foiling in a few minutes with no previous foil experience.

Haven't tried it. It'll probably be fun for a while, but a kite for me isn't just a powersource, it's the whole reason I like the sport because flying a kite is fun, plus it enables you to do all kinds of cool stuff. :D

Buy an Efoil, or, replace every piece of kite gear I own with brand new...hmmm...hard choice.

This is true - Lift efoil is extremely easy to learn.
I tested two days ago:
https://www.facebook.com/marek.bracuru/ ... 176&type=3

and this is how I see it:
1 promile of population is able to ride a foil with a kite
50 percent of the same population is able to ride e-foil.

No doubt that efoiling will be booming soon.
The future market will be similar to jet-ski' one. You can find a models in a range of 5-20k$.

Boring? it might be boring for us, foilers, but for the masses it is never ending fun.

I had fun and already thinking about riding it on waves, jumping.
A journalist asked me if I want to cross Baltic Sea again. Why not?! it would be fun.

If new price will not go under 3-4k it will be single cases who will buy it. And limitation of battery time is very big.

If you compare it with buying a boat, it seems pretty cheap.

I’m guessing you could buy another battery and swap it out to get two hours?

Seems like great fun to me. A no wind option. Hope it gets cheaper. I believe it would need a registration?

Unless it gets a LOT cheaper this will be a curiosity niche product. I wouldn’t mind having a go though...
