Impressive video on mirror flat water...
Mythical Mirrorland
The low-end wind limits for kite hydrofoiling are fading, Jannis Maus shows this impressively, foiling silently out on a mirror flat North Sea with his Levitaz Kitefoil and our FLYSURFER Kiteboarding SONIC RACE closed-cell foilkite.

Crazy to me that these videos make me want for lighter wind. 16g20, wish it would back off a little.

Yeah it looks nice. But one stuff up means swim home. Give me more wind anyday or i'll bust out my mountain bike and have way more fun.

Jannis was on an 18m and was the first one out, when we waited for enough wind to race, proving that there was sufficient wind higher up. Eveyone on the beach was surprised by the view of 6 guys rinding when there were 0kn on the beach as the wind started at least 5m from the ground due to the cold spring sea. But we all got to swim eventually as the little breeze died as soon as it came
Sadly the drone got out too late, only capturing Jannis on long lines that was able to keep his kite in the air the longest.

It is SO great - had a similar session yesterday in the lightest wind, till it faded away again.
Nothing beats these priceless sessions, they are in a league of their own somehow and difficult to explain, so many got no idea....
Low end hydrofoiling is truly amazing

Absolutely blows my mind. Just looks amazing, but I am happy to watch and feel some stoke that it is even possible. Gear, style, and just preference will be individual, but even a high wind megaloop junkie can marvel that super skilled riders with the right gear can pull that off.
If you had suggested it possible to me no more than 5 years ago, I would never have believed it.
