Moses 633 vs Slingshot H4 wing

Postby caps » Tue Jul 03, 2018 4:33 pm

Has anyone ridden both of these wings and able to compare with firsthand experience? I’m trying to figure out which way to go on my next foil. I currently have the Hoverglide which I’ve really enjoyed. Despite being heavier than all other foils, it is a smooth, stable ride when learning. It also appears unbreakable considering the immovable objects I’ve managed to hit with only cosmetic damage. With the HG setup, adding the H4 wing is the most economic move, like $400. But I’m wondering what I’d miss if I don’t get a light 633 equivalent setup. I’m now working on flying tacks, 180’s, 360’s and jumps. Thanks all!

What's lacking with your current setup that you want to change or improve?
Why do you want a new wing?

I have tried both and I prefer the 633.
The H4 seemed tipsy for side to side and I was not comfortable on it (roll - heel to toe).
The 633 is amazing.......and I was instantly comfortable on the first reach.

Hoverglide is ugly and heavy but it rides smooth. You might want to try H2 for lower end as it might be nice middle ground wing between H5 and H4.

Carrying carbon 590/633 setup, having variety of masts from 41cm through 111cm, having option of attaching race wing to 647 fuselage, lightweight for flying - all of that is pretty awesome but will cost you extra buck.

Right now H2 and H4 are on sale, and it would be the most economical option to extend the lowend on your existing setup

My HG is just so locked in it’s hard to make quick turns- probably due to my inexperience in combo with the shape and weight of wing. Im just looking to advance my riding with new tricks/swell rides/lowend.

I found the H4 wing to be very stable side to side but maneuverable when I wanted to to be. I have not tried the Moses 633.
