the worst zip is the one on the Moses bags, looks great but lasts less than one holiday, thin fragile aluminum puller breaks off quickly and the thin alli runner just melts away in weeks, great looking bag ruined by a cheap zip.
That’s a letdown...
Shoe repair shop if you can find one can fix that fast and cheap. New zipper is not expensive, but that sucks to experience

Oyvind (Øyvind) ride a Kanaha board (he broke his other board), here with the Ketos WaveXL - I wish I could make only a few of the 360s like he can, so tight and narrow, amazing :naughty:

Over the past few weeks they increased the price by $100. I’m kind of disappointed, because I don’t think anything changed other than a little positive press.
Good old capitalism which provided most of us with the means to live a privileged life that includes kiteboarding. Embrace it.

My 42” (107 cm) Kanaha Shapes board arrived this week. Green with blue rails to match my Cloud kites with inserts for both Cloud 9 (Liquid Force) and Zeeko foils.

Custom made and it was ready in 2 weeks. Horacio was great to work with.

The board is a work of art. Excellent attention to detail.

Raining here and surf too big to foil since I got it but the surf dropped a bit, sun came out, and the wind picked up enough for a 10.4m Cloud and my Cloud 9 surf foil yesterday.

Really underpowered but no issues getting onto the foil and making it though the surf. Wind picked up and I ended up fully powered by the end of the session. Touched down a few times and the board popped right back up thanks to the large amount of nose rocker.

Overall I’m super happy with the board. Really light, stiff, simple foil connection, nice nose rocker, and a very direct feel for the foil.

Kanaha Shapes is definitely worth a look if you looking for a pocket sized board.

2 years into foiling I’m really stoked to have my gear finally dialed in for how I want to ride:

3.7m to 10.4m Cloud kites
Cloud 9 S24 surf foil
107cm Kanaha pocket board for kite foiling
4’10” Foil Surf Machines crossover surf foil/kite foil board

No one has mentioned the Zeeko pocketboard that has standard tracks and decent looking rocker, length about 110 cms. Anyone tried it with a big wing?
Expecting a few next week, Will test with Moses Onda then.

Cheers,
Frank
