That's the Moses wing. I bet it's made in Italy, as are all Moses wings.

633 has been available in US since January. Glad to see and can highly recommend it under home brand logo as well.

Yes. Most kitesurf products are made in China. The Ghost Whisper foils, however are manufactured in the same facility as Moses, because they are a joint venture. Moving forward I certainly hope the wings are manufactured in China so that folks get get their foil gear.

Is it not as simple as making a mold out of any wing and you get a replica?

So far SS still is one season behind, as Moses released its new stuff just in time for the european spring/summer. Let‘s wait and see what Moses will be unveiling for „our“ 2019 season.

If you care about having well designed and good QC, and that most of the profits go to the people who do the R&D work, and own the IP, you'll buy products manufactured and sold under the originators control.

That's not to say you shouldn't buy Chinese products sold as Slingshot or any other brand/developmnt team that has product made there. But buying products directly from a manufacturer that is obviouly copying others work is not good. It's not good for a lot of reasons.

The Moses products are really good and reasonably priced. It's great Slingshot and Moses can collaborate and increase market, distribution and service.
Help them through your purchasing decisions to allow them to have a robust and sustained business.

A good thing about Slingshot bringing 590/637/633 and windsurf foils too is that they’ll be out soon available second hand for $1100 and that means a bite off carbon foils US market. Competition is good and hopefully European brands will drop prices yet again, yet again.

In few years when a freeride hydrofoil will mean having couple of mast lengths and having couple of swept back wing sizes mountable right onto mast plus a light pocket board the prices will be even lower - no fuselage, no stabilizer, hopefully a standard for wing-mast mount so choice aluminum-carbon is less troublesome.

Let’s keep it rolling! I can’t wait for an off-brand (since Moses and Slingshot are too slow to make one yet) making larger, ~800sq.cm wing for the new 647 fuselage to kill off the need for 633 setup for kiters. But I’m hoping I’ll see one from Moses in November - $300 is not that much to spend on a new wing once a year
