Also keep in mind that the boats being built for the next 24 months are really only intended to find out what does NOT work, not what DOES. The "real" boats will only make their debut within the marketing window leading up to the LVC.

Indeed! Might have to eat my words. A 75 ft version of that 28 footer will be pretty wild. They will have to stay well clear of each other with that slicer foil hanging out to leeward.
