Hi, I am at the finishing stages of my homebuilt board, breather cloth finish is used on the epoxy deck for Nonslip, it is not very rough but works surprisingly well. If I coat this surface with UV protectant varnish will it get slippery? Thanks.

Don't know for sure, but I bet it will. Most modern epoxies have some uv resistance, so I wouldn't be too concerned.
