A week with races in so many different conditions, ranging from 1 to 45 knots :thumb:

The last day with the Medal Race on TV (top ten one race final) were unfortunately cancelled due to an upcoming thunderstorm on this last day :(

The top 3 results are as this after 16 and 19 races -

Women

1. Daniela Moroz
2. Elena Kalinina
3. Alexia Fancelli

Men

1. Nicolas Parlier

Nico seems to be carrying a big knife with him in that photo.

I would think given the potential for tangle carnage that this would be a wise accessory?

Yes, they have different fleets at first and then the top from each fleet race each other. However, I dont think the medal races ever happened. They were supposed to be Saturday but were cancelled due to thunderstorms.

To me it seems like they split ththe fleets up too much. If I'm at a regatta with up to 50liters, I'd prefer one fleet.

This was a short course format though so maybe that's why they split them up,

Even with the small fleets they seem to have lots of problems when reaching first mark, lots of tangles and protests
