Back to original question though - did anyone try the 330 or even 325 stabilizer with the 633?

Interesting to hear others feedback.

Yes, I should remove my hooks. I can actually start without using them, but I choppy crap I'm lazy and use them.

Indeed, I am moving my feet around: feet close together while standing tall and relaxing, feet pointing forward, wide stance going up wind, feet forward going downwind in swell, feet further back when I have weed on the mast/ wing so I have to have more AoA to get lift.

To each his own!

Thanks to all for the responses.
I should have mentioned my setup as well, I guess. I am using a T40 which has no track so I can't move the mast back.
I am riding strapless from day 1 so it is easy for me to move around.
What I find on the 633 is that with increasing speed the front foot pressure increases. I wonder if the Moses guys did that on purpose as this setup was originally built for slow speed and pumping. I guess a shim would help which I might try.
What Peter suggested that the smaller wing makes the foil more lifely is also what I am hoping for.
Again, my original question still stands if anyone rode the 633 with the 330 or the 325 stab.
Cheers from Barbados

If the 330 and 325 are smaller stabs, you can ride these and get exactly what you seek, more liveliness and still okay stability :thumb:

I dont know any of these, but noone need to have ridden these, I can tell you 100 % they WILL work - it is not rocket science in design, the stabs.

If they somehow feels "not perfect" in trim, it will only be a matter of shimming the stab slightly - but I doubt this will be necessary.

I would just go with the smallest one if I were you Rolf

I have ridden loads of different stab sizes and types, and both flat and curved, and some that arent matched from the manufacturer - they are different indeed, but they all work :naughty:

My Onda doesnt change pressure balance with speed at all. I have custom pocket board. I have two mast position cca 7cm apart. I ride back one. When i rode front one it just feel wrong It feel wrong be that much front on board. Imo all your issues is mast position. Or there is something wrong with you particular Onda. You dont google any complain about Onda heavy on front foot.

Can someone measure out the mounting spacing on the Onda. I want to make sure it will fit my mobile splitboard before I buy one. Thanks!

My friend mounted Onda to his nobile splitboard. No probs with mounting. The problem is if you ride straps - front strap isn't enough forward, so the stance is very narrow.

Ok awesome thanks. I don’t ride it with straps, they’re useless on that board and I wouldn’t jump it anyhow. Too fragile.

BTW, that guy switched to custom carbon small board shortly after testing it with his splitboard. Everyone here decided that this nobile splitboard is only suitable for traveling.
