You cannot just move the knot. You will limit the amount of depower throw available as the knot will be hitting the pulley.

Gunnar seriously I asked you that before and you said it'll never hit the pulley. Which at the time I thought was a impossible but not completely impossible. So thanks for the truth. Now I can safely say Ozone mixers will get the same problem flysurfers have and limit depower when the pulley lines shrink.

You need to read things in context.

To not use the KR1 extension line you will need to move the knot up almost 15cm. That will bring it into range of the pulley. That is why you need to use the KR1 extension line.

Once you've added the pig tail to get the A/B/C lines equal, how long does the extension on the Brake " Z" line have to be ?

Similar to the other extension , longer or trial and error ?

Use the pigtail length on your C as a starting point. If it's still tucking, then extend it a bit more.

Anyone own a Chrono V1 who’s still using the original speed system pulley lines that were sleeved dyneema bridle line? I have upgraded both my 18m and 12m with the SSLines Speed System Pulley Lines (PB1,PB2/PC1) Amsteel as recommend by Ozone some time ago now, but both kites speed systems looks to be need of adjustment having performed the “speed system Zero Check”.
Only asking as I kept the old dyneema pulley lines and refitted them to one side of my 12m Chrono, more out of curiosity and found that all the knots lined up perfectly. Admittedly these lines have probably not exceeded 60 hours of use, so perhaps not a fair test. Just curious to hear if anyone is still using dyneema pulley lines as opposed to the Amsteel lines. The dyneema lines as I understand were not deemed as suitable and could wear out/break. The Amsteel lines are much thicker and have a higher breaking strain, but unsure as to shrinking properties when compared to sleeved dyneema lines.

As with all new kites there is the initial “bedding in” where everything tightens up ETC, so this probably accounts for the misalignment.
Ozone recommends that you check your speed system at least every 60 hours, there isn’t a time specified as to how many flying hours it takes before the A B C connection points become misaligned.
