Paul at pbk kiteboarding is ok ive had good dealings with him. Yes the new depower lines suck they begin to show wear very fast . But there should be a spare line included with the kite . I usually buy 5 or 6mm dyenema rope on eBay and make my own.

There is also a problem if the center lines are twisted when you attach them to the kite, they will stay tangled unless you detach the lines from the kite and untwist them. You can't untwist them rotating the chicken loop (or with untwist handle what is in almost every bar nowadays).
There isn't sleeve around the end of the lines where you attach lines to kite. I bet they won't last for long, they will wear out fast.
I have flysurfer bar 3.0 and I'm not a big fan of it.
