It's amazing how effective a simple zip can be. I almost like them again. I don't know why flysurfer did somethings they did.

I would have to agree a zip makes packing away the kite alot easier. the velcro at the bottom looks cleaner and less obtrusive but dosent let enough air out in a reasonable time . i prefer the cleaner look but maybe Flysurfer can we can have 2 velcro openings o the trailing edge instead of one ? i kne this is done on the lotus.

In a nutshell,
This is a unbeatable quality/price ratio, for a modern and light weight kite having a good stability, pull and upwind angle, direct out-of-the bag. Relative Slow turning radius shall be compensated by a large bar (55/60 cm) , so freestyle or surf is not its favorite application; For light-wind freeride and hangtime it behaves very good. Not tested for foil but I would say it should be considered for medium / heavy riders only.
How is bar pressure? A15 has zero bar pressure when stationary at 12. I mean zero. By comparison my Sonic bar feels almost medium, although it really is light. Extremely light and numb feel on bar is perhaps the worst characteristic of A15. I'm curious about Aurora2 in light fabric (12 or 15) as a possible option, if for nothing else than to prolong life of my Sonic. I never quite fell for A15 other than 9m. Larger sizes are too slow (across wind window) for me.

I found bar pressure on my aurora2 15m to be so smooth light and predictable, the feedback allows to to fly it without watching it. I learnt to kite surf this year, it took the aurora2 to learn smooth transitions. I have leis, but my best days are with the aurora.

bar pressure is very light and similar to Aurora v1 and flysurfer speeds 2-3-4. I never tried any sonic so cannot compare bar pressure. Riding speed will of course be more limited xith the Aurora, while Aurora will certainly flight with less wind in my guess.

I'm sure Aurora is no Sonic in speed. I'm rather curious how much faster it is compared to A15?

No idea personally. But with a higher aspect and more tapered tips, I'm gonna say size for size it should be quicker than an a15
