Not much sense in this discussion really. Somebody claims that his Soul has some features that I totally don't need. That's probably the reason why Soul starts to fall from the sky while Chrono V3 UL still hangs without any problems.
The reason I went with Chrono V3 UL is that I wanted super stable easy to ride ultralight freerace kite. I both enjoy freeriding it with Onda 633 wing and near race kite performance with 637 race wing. Nothing like this is found among competitors.
I highly doubt after a couple months of good use without an adjustable bridle, your baller priced foil kite is going to preform as well. But hell I guess, if you have money to burn, then you don't mind spending the big money for a bridle replacement
To me all the features make the kite, not just what stays in the air with the lightest wind. I'm sure at such light winds, it wouldn't have enough grunt to bring you up on foil. Also I'd hate to say it, but it looks like the Flysurfer Sonic VMG has your Chrono 3 UL beat. The 21m range starts at 3kts

Just saying
.
Did 2x heli loops 5 times with 8-10sec hangtime.
Got two of them on video. Never jumped so high in so little wind.
Flatwater spot with onshore winds made it to possible go real high. I think the Chrono V3 and Soul is very close in performance. Just a matter of personal taste. Had full power all the time. Going to be interesting to see what it can do in +25knots.

Crazy session to day with My Chrono V3 13m
8 jumps over 15m and 2 over 18m.
Chrono V3 needs more cred!
And yes Soul seems to be an excellent kite aswell
