Hi all,
Any thoughts in this kite, I have been offered one second hand. Looking to use it as a lighting wind foiling kite.
Thanks

The Diablo V1's were very good kites. They are now 3 or 4 years old though, so depends on how much it has been used and if the owner has kept up with tuning the stretching/shrinking bridles.
How much are they asking? Should be around $500-$700 in the US.
I never had a Diablo V1, but I remember someone telling me there was no easy way to adjust the bridles. Not sure about that though.

I have the Diablo 11m V1.
I use it for light wind foiling, (80kg) a 600cm2 front wing gets me going in around 7 knots, with my 1000cm2 wing I get flying in a little less wind...
Im very happy with the V1. its a great kite!
cheers

Diablo V1 is excellent kite.
It is fairly easy foil kite. stable compared to many other kites of the same age (Sonic fr, Elf joker 7, R1V1)
It is good for hydrofoil. It is ok for freestyle. Does jump ok, not as well as flysurfer sonic fr. Turning speed is very low, lot worse than flysurfer sonic or R1V2. Not as bad as elf joker 8 though.
I liked it but eventually sold it and got sonic 2 instead (mainly because of the turning speed). However. Small sizes are awesome. My favourite kite is Diablo V1 8m. If you find it in good condition it is a gem to keep.
