So, I'm a novice foil boarder, almost zero experience water time. Just got my LF foil, still waiting for my fish board.
Meanwhile, to get me started in the water, I was thinking of attaching an old 135 BOA twin tip on my foil, maybe about 10 inches from the back? Also, add additional non skid foam on the top alongside surf footstraps?
Anybody have experience on this setup. And is it a good idea for a beginner to try this setup?

You can try, but I wouldn't recommend it. As a beginner volume and a good rocker are valuable but most important a TT is not stiff enough for foilboarding. Even for an experienced rider you want 0 flex in a foilboard board.

I highly advise you not to ...
I have a mate who fitted one to a TT and I think it's put him off foiling .. I've tried it myself and it's not easy
Rather get a big surfboard and chop 200-300 mm off the nose

I did it and it worked fine. The primary issue I had was the sandwich construction of the board required re-reinforcement (Shinn Style).
I used a crazyfly lightwind door (150x50). I attached a 600x250x22 block of pine to the bottom of the TT, and used 8mm bolts with HUGE washers (top and bottom) to secure the board.
I then used 8mm bolts + HUGE washers through the block of pine and TT to attach the foil.
Works really well as a light wind board/foil with only a small amount of swing weight.
I have smashed into weed and sand numerous times without any issues.

I was thinking going the same route (choosing O'Brian 137 wakeboard) but decided not to. Smaller less buoyant board means harder water start and greater risk loosing the whole setup when separated from the board. Relatively sharp rails make the whole thing a bitch to carry along.

I expect you'd figure out how to use it, but sounds like it might not be easiest option from what people are saying about flex.
My concern would be buoyancy. The LF set up is not light and doesn't float ... when you wipe out, it may sink without board flotation (!) or at best may be neutral buoyant, making it hard to find in choppy waters. I considered attaching my rig to a wood paipo, but was advised not to for this reason.
Or fill the mast with waterproof spray foam, kinda like a Boston Whaler "unsinkable boat" option.

I would say go for it.
There is almost absolutely no difference in construction with TT and ie Cab Double Agent. None. The Agent flexes, has similar buoyancy to a TT etc. etc.
What Agent has tho are more SS inserts for the mast position. And a way more width and tip rocker. Minor things

I've done it multiple times. The flex sucks but it works. Try and get a real stiff board. If you are beginning then go for something with decent volume/size

I have a Mako King catching dust lately.
Since the huge concave and rocker make it a board with close to zero flex I guess it would be a suitable Hydrofoil platform. Since the King is a good TT great mutant and reasonable directional as well it would be a great do it all platform.
Thinking of making a bottom ad-on attached using the fins holes to ad stiffness and not having to drill in the King.
