I'm recovering from injury and have nothing better to do. Still a beginner on foil and have been riding a 2016 Moses Fluente with 550 and 548 wing with the 330 stabilizer.
But being a " maker" idiot, I've started building a 70cm strut for shallow spots we have. Almost done with it.
Now I've figured out a way to make a 3D printed wing ( see other thread), and want to test it.
My idea is to build a bigger slow wing for the Fluente. I'd screw it into the Fluente fuselage. I'm thinking a + 30% larger chord and + 10% span, using the T speer H105 or Eppler 817 profile.
(Edit: did some reading online, the H105 will be better at low speed and more forgiving to high AoA. High AoA will happen at low speed to get more lift to get up and flying.)
Main question is if I can use same stabilizer.?
Are these increases in size reasonable?
Yeah, I know, why would I want to do this? I'm just curious and like learning to build stuff.
Also, I thought 548 wing would be significantly different to 550, but at my level it's barely notable.
Lokihel,
How do think it will behave with " too small " rear stab?
OR
keep the tail the same size , and move it back a few inches by making the fuse
a bit longer ; wouldn't that give it the same amount of down-force , (with less drag)
except for the increase in wetted surface aria of the fuse ?
Bille,
I'm trying to avoid making all the parts.
I was looking at the Levitaz foils. They have same stabilizer and fuselage for cruiser, element and aspect front wings.

my Zeeko foil uses the same stabiliser for the Carver wing as it does for the standard main wing and the carver is much larger.
Here is my first design for a slow speed, high lift front wing to screw directly onto my Moses set up. It has span of 600 mm and chord of 160mm, with a T Speer H105 profile.
Slowest Moses wing is 548 span and 132 Chord, with an unknown profile.
I am total and complete amateur and know just enough to kill myself.
I´m going to have to create a shim between fuselage and wing top so it fits the existing curve.
