well my 6.6 BIII DEF has more poke than my old 6.4 BII
Only other comparison I can give is 10.5 BIII v 9 BII, as I own & fly both..
BIII again has soooo much more power...

8.5 razor is biggest kite I have exp with.... fun fun fun!! As stated earlier, be wary of gusty winds, jumping is one thing, but lofting is scary!! Recently, I have been reading that zenith(directly overhead) IS NOT SAFE place to park kites. If you want a break, park it to the side, or stake it out, and save yourself some pain!!!!

I use an 18.5 Titan in 7 - 12 mph wind. I find that if you have enough wind to fly the Titan, you not only have enough power to ride, you feel like you are getting pulled by a truck. Works great in deep powder when you need some extra horsepower.
I would like to understand how a 10.5 Blade III is as powerful as a 21.5 Titan. I know that Blades are more efficient, but it sounds like a stretch when the 21.5 is twice the size of the Blade. Does the Blade III offer the same depower ability as the Flysurfer?

Are the Blades...De-powerable? For some reason I thought they were not. Also if they are, can you use any 4-line bar?
Thanks

The depowering range is defined by wing structure that allows AOA being changed without loosing the flow. Usually "flat nose" kites like blades are not suitable for large depowering range applications. Maybe the best depowering range you can find from Boom-kites.com, as they have nice round nose and incredible 80+cm movement at the tail of the kite allowing a big AOA that together with high internal pressure keeps the kite in shape better than anything I have seen.
Boom Kites depowering and kite structure is worth having a look at if you happen to see one...
